Ok, this car thing is starting to get on my nerves, and I am not one who is easily angered. This car was supposed to be in my possesion a month and a half ago. There also never seem to be any excuses. He just doesn't call and then we call him and he gives us another date which he will drop it off. I didn't get to go to the mall tonight because my mom isn't yet home and the mall closes in 15 minutes. And the next day and a half I am strapped for time. FIE.

We had a snow day today after about five inches of snow fell last night. I beleive this is our first snow day in at least three years. But we have had a few snow delays in the intervening years. I went to the winter film festival on Saturday. It was humorous in most circumstances but very bad in others. The video by Frankie Riccardi was by far the worst one. We had a chess match scheduled for today but it has obviously been cancelled. That about does it so so long.

Having two study halls sure is nice. And to top it all off, they are first and last periods of the day. Madeira beat Mason in chess yesterday with a 4-1 victory. I was the loss. I don't think we have a chance at the title this year, even though last year with a varisty team made of entirely sophomores, we came in second in our league and third in the city. The reason we haven't been doing so hot is because boards 1, 3, and 4 do not show up reguraly(I am 2). And on top of that, our 5th and 6th boards were inelligible due to academic reasons. And about the state of the union address last night, a joke is what it was. I particularly liked when the republicans gave him a standing ovation while the democrats didn't even clap. Let's hear it for a completely bi-partisan night ladies and gents.

Three exams down, only one more to go. And it is not even the hardest one so no pressure. The hardest exam was the English exam, which was both hard and easy at the same time. It consisted of 3 essays, 34 ap questions (multiple choice), and 26 matching terms. The hard part came from the level of detail that was expected from the essays, while avoiding plot summaries on two of them. On a completely different track. Take a moment and think back to what you were like one year ago. I have said it on several occasions but you are never the same person again. There will never be a time when you don't look back and say 'Man was I immature/stupid!'

Hey everybody. 'Hey doctor Nick.' I installed a cd burner in my computer today. But fear not, I voided the warranty within a week of getting the computer so you don't need to worry about that. It's a 52x34x52, for those of you that don't know what that means, it means 'hecka fast.' Now the only thing I don't know how to do when building a computer is using the heat sink and silver compound to put in the proccessor. We are also getting road runner in the comming week so you know what that means...even more liberating of music. Another plus, I am getting my car in the next day or two. Man, when it rains it pours.

We have been back in school for two days now and I am just realizing how good we had it during break. I have 7th(which is last) period study hall, so by the time it rolls around...I am too tired to do much work. Leaving me the option of doing homework at home(gasp, perish the thought) or doing it in the morning 20 or so minutes before school. And because I have other stuff I am working on at home, that leaves the morning. I put a new rant up today. I wasn't planning on writing a rant but I was writing it for something else and it turned into a rant. So enjoy it. It is not as brash and rough edged as some of the other rants because it was orignially intened for a class assigment. In other news, I have been selected as a nominee for Madeira High School to help represent Ohio for a technology smeminar thing in Silicon Valley at the end of July and begining of August. Silicon Valley being a desert and in California. And why am I going to a desert in the middle of summer? No one quite knows. But it should be fun nevertheless, as long as they have some mighty fine air conditioners.

Twas the day after Christmas, eh...that's enough poetic licenseing I feel like doing today. Christmas this year was adequete I suppose. My mother and step-father are apparently under the impression that all I want for Christmas is cooking stuff, and while the new cookie sheets were appreciated, they are sadly mistaken. Christmas with the other parts of the family was more fruitful. And although I did get some things I already had(this was my fault because I didn't cross them off my list), the fun antics we had more than made up for that. From my sister's book of 30 second mysteries, Ian and I were practically wetting ourselves. Every answer was either monkeys or Gerald Ford, or so we thought. A game of Trivial Pursuit is mandatory at all family gatherings with pretty much the same teams from year to year. My cousin Eric and I got off to a strong lead, then in several acts of cheating, we were forced down to second by the end of the game. My father and Ian ended up winning. Then we were off to a third Christmas with my mother's side of the family at her mother's house. And while the company was not exactly what I would have hoped for, several good presents were aquired. This being done after a large Thanksgiving-ish meal. Mmmmm, mash potatoes, mmmmm. The only thing that could have made it better would probably have been to talk with some friends over aol or aim, for I haven't been able to talk to practically anyone since Tuesday night. Eh, c'est la vie.

Fie. I still have perfume on me that was sprayed in aggresion at me from last night. And it appears that I have developed a rash from said perfume. I should be working on stuff for school, yes we had stuff assigned over break, but I have decided to put it off till later. I don't know why, maybe I am just crazy.

Bonjour. Man my hair is getting long. Each strand is roughly 7 inches long. Last haircut was sometime before April, I am guessing early March. Kt, Abbie spilled the beans. Yes I am happy for you, but I still can't stand the guy. Everything is cool, so long as you don't call me childish again. A rant will be up as soon as I get some time. This one will be about pop-tarts and how people who only eat one at a time and leave the other one in the box still partially in the wrapper should be drug out into the street and shot. Have a nice day.

I have just had one of the craziest conversations I will probably ever have. I could have plotted the whole thing on a mobius strip. For those who do not know what that is, it is that twisted '8' that you can continue on in a two dimensional way forever. Other than that, I stayed home from school today for reasons concerning my back. I now have a 'Get Out Of Gym Free Card' for the remainder of the week. And before anyone else starts spouting my philosophies and quotes back at me, a philosophy is something for the moment, not something to live by. And so they can be thrown out at a moments notice.

I put another personality quiz thing that I took on my "About Me" page. I can't fit many more on there so I was going to give personality tests their own page in a few days or so. Abbie got me hooked on Good Charlotte, so I am here listening and downloading as many songs as I can. I also found out how to paste stuff onto the program I use for editing my pages, so no more copying by hand, Huzzah! I am in a rant writting mood but I don't have a clear topic in mind. Any suggestions would be welcomed.

*Large audible sigh* I am a bit angry. But not as angry as I would have been had a conversation not happened. I wasn't angry to begin with but then i read an email, I was then having visions of breaking chairs and desks with my bare hands(and legs). On a completly separate note(yes it is separate), join me in my quest against crustaceans. He, I just crack myself up.(that was an inside joke if you are still scratching your head)

What would I do without John and John of TMBG to speak for me. I believe "They'll Need A Crane" is perfect for this situation. 'Seize the moment, it may be fleeting'.

You can tell yourself one thing, but you cannot change what you think. You can tell yourself that you are going to stop this or start that or not do that anymore, but in the end...you can't trust what you say to yourself. -Adam's thought of the day.

Adam is making his famous Magic Crakers tonight. Hold, *beats someone off with a stick away from the crackers*. Everyone likes these crackers. They are just oyster crackers with a series of spices on them. No, you cannot have the recipe. Select choir also starts in the next week or so. There is no reason to really mention anything. And I still have to beat up Waffel.

A solution to the Dune Party may be at hand. If you check this and don't check your email, for shame. Happy Wednesday.

Adam got his license, Adam got his license. It was not even that hard for all of you who did not get it on your first try. And that rant, it is not worth fixing. I'm taking it off.
Friday, November 28, 2003 02:28 p.m.
Yes, I know the rant is terrible. So if you haven't read it already, don't. I will fix it soon but I have more pressing matters to attend to at the moment.
Tuesday, November 25, 2003 05:51 p.m.
Another rant would have been written today, but geocities has decided not to cooperate this evening. This rant would have proven once and for all that, drum roll please...Adam has feelings. DUN-DUN-DUN(dramatic effect). It should get written in the next day or two. Permiting that multi-genre stuff doesn't get in the way. Or practicing for driving test. Or my cooking of the Turkey Day meal. So if I can, I will write it.

Let us thank our pillars of strength, for most often it is not ourselves on who we lean against, but others. And those others sometime need to do there own leaning. So we give thanks, to all of you who put up with the rest of us for untold hours, we appreciate your patience. Feel free to do the same back anytime.
Thursday, November 20, 2003 03:24 p.m.
Abbie, now you have no proof that is was ever here, MUHAHAHAHA. There is also a new rant up for those of you interested.
